Cinequest San Jose Film Festival

A little girl decides she needs to get Irises for her mom's birthday. The whole island tries to dissuade her but they fail. The island off Palermo was gorgeous. The girl is a real doll whose acting seemed to get better as the film went on. She encounters people on her way around the island: a too charming sailor, a scorned woman, a bunny, some backpackers. It all adds up to nothing in the end but it's fun to hang out for awhile. Subplot with two German tourists probably added for topless swim scene.
