Notes: "...Lola is a spacey woman in loveless marriage saves a stranger from getting hit by a bus...woman is a free spirit who buys Lola a drink and then takes her to a sauna...Lola is excited by her new friend...the friend owes money and is beaten up and Lola takes her wig and identity and travels to rural Canada to see the woman's estranged mother...She is now bold and brave like her new friend was...sort of a story about rebirth and identity...Lola leaves Vancouver for a mining town and appears to be happy...the mother hasn't seen her real daughter in a long time, plus her eyesight is failing which was a bit too convenient when they have a face-to-face meeting....lead actress appealing in a Lara Flynn Boyle way...the omnipresent Canadian actor Colm Feore stars as the husband..."
