Alexandra Pelosi, daughter of Nancy Pelosi, was a producer on an NBC newsmagazine when she began traveling with George W. Bush as his campaign began in 1999. She started keeping a video diary and this is the result. The behind-the-scenes stuff from the press corps is fantastic. How exactly does a person listen to the exact same speech, often ten times a day, and find something new to report to the world? Pelosi and Bush begin a joking relationship where she kids him about policy and he kids her about boys she likes. Interesting for a political junkie like me. Even if it was the wrong guy.
